Product Use
Livden products may be used in a variety of applications such as kitchens, bathrooms, light traffic residential floors, walls, and stairs. Some products may not be suitable for all applications. If values for characteristics such as absorption or coefficient of friction are required, please contact us in writing before placing an order.
Material should be installed by removing and laying out the tiles from all crates or boxes to insure optimal blending of shade variation. No claims for any tile order will be accepted after installation.
Hand Made Tile
Hand made and custom tile is as much an art as a science. Variations are inherent to our tiles and should be expected. To ensure the smallest possible range in color variation, it is best to order enough tile to complete your installation and, depending on the project, 10 - 15% extra.

Minimum Order Policy
Tile is sold by the box. There is a minimum one box purchase requirement for all orders and add-ons.
Ordering Procedure
Your order may be placed on the website and you will receive an order verification e-mail shortly thereafter. Please verify the accuracy of the order. At that time, all applicable changes or revisions should be made. The order will be shipped within 5-10 days.
Please consult your tile contractor for order quantities, Livden does not check your order count for installation suitability.
Order Quantities
To avoid miscalculations, we recommend that you have a professional tile contractor calculate the measurements and quantities for your tile project. Upon delivery, we request that all quantities be checked by an installer or contractor. Please note that any additions or changes to the order could delay the delivery date and may result in a degree of color variation.
Pricing
We are committed to providing our customers with the most affordable product and maintaining a relatively stable pricing. However, we reserve the right to change prices, terms and conditions of sale without advanced notice. (These do not include jobs already bid or quoted.)
Payment Terms
For all in-stock orders, 100% payment is required at the time of sale.
Late Payment
Purchaser agrees, by approval of their purchase order, that if payment is not made according to terms of sale, to pay interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the amount permitted by law and to pay reasonable collection costs including reasonable attorney fees.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be charged on all applicable orders and added to an invoice unless customer presents a resale certificate. Applicable sales or use tax rate will be used at time of payment.
Order Cancellations
Custom orders cannot be cancelled after production has begun. Please be advised that all deposits are non-refundable.
Shipping and Handling
Livden is a California based company that only ships to the contiguous United States and Canada. All international clients can have orders delivered to a freight forwarder of their choice located within the U.S. or Canada. Clients should make sure the freight forwarder acknowledges the arrival of the shipment and should arrange for the shipment from their nominated forwarder warehouse toward the final destination. This is currently the only manner in which to have your tile shipped internationally.

Damaged Merchandise
All products leave our warehouses properly packaged and in new condition. All claims for damaged or broken merchandise must be made through carrier.
Upon Delivery
Immediately upon delivery please review the shipment for accuracy of materials ordered, including quantity, quality, and color, and for any shipping damage. Contact us at 858-290-4700 or email, hello@livden.com if any problems exist. All claims must be presented in writing within five days of receipt.
Any damage that is apparent upon delivery must be noted on the freight carrier delivery receipt. All products leave our warehouse in excellent condition but if you notice torn or damaged boxes, or any signs of mishandled shipment, please note this by writing a detailed description of the damage on the Delivery Form presented to you by the trucking company/LTL Carrier driver for signature before signing. Take photos of the damage, in original packaging, upon delivery. If the damage is severe, we recommend you refuse the shipment entirely. All claims for damaged or broken merchandise must be made through carrier.
Ownership
Livden maintains the lawful ownership of all products until they are paid in full.
Installation
Livden does not accept responsibility or liability for installation, sealing or refinishing of any product. Please review the installation instructions and maintenance guidelines before installation. We recommend using a professional installer for best results. Livden is not responsible for problems arising from improper installation, use, or care of the tiles.
Returns
Stock orders (after shipment to customer): No returns accepted after 30 days. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, plus freight to and from the shipping location.
Custom/Non-Stock (special) orders: No returns will be accepted. These orders are non-cancelable.
All claims regarding your order pertaining to color, design, quality, or quantity must be resolved prior to installation. All claims for product returns must be made in writing within 5 days of receipt. Returns must be made in original packaging. Freight is responsibility of customer. No claims will be accepted for any reason after installation.
Storage Fee
Livden does not store customer’s orders and any storage requires explicit prior approval. If a customer is unable to accept delivery of ordered materials, we reserve the right to charge an additional storage fee for up to 3 months. After this 3 month period, the materials automatically revert to Livden’s ownership and no refund will be given.
Warranty and Limitation of Remedies and Damages
In the unlikely event of product failure, Livden will repair and/or replace, at its discretion, the affected area of the materials at a cost not to exceed the original square foot cost of the portion of the material shown to be defective. All claims must be submitted to Livden before tear out and re-install begins.
Livden will not be responsible for material failures resulting from use over a damaged, defective or improperly prepared surface.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or cracking due to structural movement, excessive deflections or other failures in the substrate or framing, including damage resulting from weather, flood, fire and acts of God. This warranty shall expire two years after the date of shipment by Livden.
By ordering tile from Livden, client agrees to all terms and conditions above.
