Claire Thomas, interior designer + creative director, approached LIVDEN for an exciting opportunity to supply patterned tile for lifelong friend and talented actress, Bryce Dallas Howard's guest bathroom remodel. Howard and her husband recently purchased a new build in Los Angeles but wanted to transform it into a brightly colored space with "organic glamour" that suited their personal style.

After their home renovation was complete, it was featured on the famous Home Tour series on Architectural Digest. During Bryce and her husband's home tour, you quickly realize that every aspect of the home was not only meticulously thought out, but paid homage to her and her husband's favorite movies and television series.

In the Architectural Digest home tour, Bryce discusses why she specifically chose the MARIGOLD tile to put in her retro-inspired guest bathroom. What initially drew her attention to the tile was how the Creamsicle color option matched the peachy color palette throughout the rest of the home.

She also pointed out that she loved how the shape of the Arches style from the MARIGOLD series was similar to the shape of the helmet in one of her favorite Star Wars series, the Mandalorian.

Sustainable Shower Design

As you can see, the MARIGOLD tile extends all the way into the remodeled shower area and stars as the shower's feature accent wall. Claire paired this geometric tile design with sleek, modern brass fixtures and a neutral Carrara mosaic in the shower niche and shower floor pan.

We love how Claire and Bryce weren't afraid to go bold and modern in the guest bathroom and paired this decorative tile with a variety of different materials and textures. This is the perfect way to create a maximalist space without clutter.
